| The development of WinCargo began six years ago
with the realization of the need for an affordable and easy-to-use
graphical user interface for the repetitive and paper-intensive cargo
industry. Frank Lin, the founder and President, worked three years
in Taiwan for a freight forwarder, and another three years for Randy
International (Burlingame branch), a New York Based freight forwarder,
from '84 to '87, he worked as a software engineer for three other software
companies, initially on Unix platform, and then concentrated on Windows
platform since '89, at which time, Windows programming was extremely time
consuming.
In 1994, he found a most cost-effective way to provide electronic forms
by combining Microsoft Word for Windows's designing capability with
Microsoft Access data link feature and decided a forwarder software
package can be rapidly developed. Frank Lin brings to WinCargo the
in-depth knowledge of computer programming combined with an insight into
the freight forwarding industry that could only come form years of
experience. With almost six years of refining from users' requests
and inputs, WinCargo has become one of he top cargo software programs in
the market, and is constantly changing and moving forward to meet various
requests from existing and potential customers.
Sumposoft's office is also ideally located, minutes away from one of
the largest freight gateways in the U.S., the San Francisco Airport.
